Update Visitor Manager from a USB

What you'll need

  • The APK file link
  • A USB drive
  • The tablet and a USB or USB‑C adapter

Steps

Put the app on the USB

  • On your computer, download the APK from your link.
  • Copy it to the USB drive.
  • Eject the USB safely.

Prepare the tablet

  • Exit any kiosk or "locked" mode so you can see the Android home screen.
  • Open Settings and allow installs from "unknown apps" for the Files app.

Install the app

  • Plug the USB into the tablet.
  • Open Files, tap the USB drive, then tap the APK.
  • Tap Install and wait for "App installed".

Finish up

  • Open Visitor Manager and check it starts normally.
  • If you use kiosk mode, turn it back on.

If something doesn't work

  • "App not installed": make sure there's enough storage and the APK is for this tablet.
  • To go back: uninstall the app, then install your previous APK from the USB again.
