iSAMS Setup in EduReg2

iSAMS Integration is a REST API using a webservice for our integration to connect to. There was an old previous method we used before the REST API that used a direct connection to the database and was called the Batch API This is not used anymore and we don't have any customers still using it.

EduReg2 has the interface settings in the GUI as below

  1. Configure iSAMS REST API Settings including the Present and Late/Very Late marks (these are marks which exist in iSAMS system, NOT our marks)
  2. Configure AMPM Registration settings, and specify AM/PM presence, late and very late periods as needed, per group, or general
  3. The Integration uses the 'SySyncService' to sync population data and the 'CloseregisterService' for writeback to iSAMS Set up CloseRegister service (use config file), as needed
