Rounding

Rounding can be done either on the net presence or on the swipes It is recommended that both rounding methods not be applied simultaneously

Rounding of net presence

Allows you to round off the net presence on the day.

Example 1 - Rounding 00:15 - CUT-OFF 00:01 The net presence is rounded up to the next quarter of an hour. A net presence from 08:01 to 08:14 is rounded to 08:15

Example 2 - Round 00:15 - CUT-OFF 00:15 The net presence is rounded down to the nearest quarter of an hour. A net presence from 08:01 to 08:14 is rounded to 08:00

Example 3 - Rounding 00:15 - CUT-OFF 00:08 A net presence from 08:01 to 08:07 is rounded to 08:00 A net presence from 08:08 to 08:14 is rounded to 08:15

Rounding on inputs and outputs

Entrance If clock-in time is 08:00

Example 1 - Rounding 00:15 - CUT-OFF 00:00 Rounded up to the next quarter of an hour From 07:46 to 07:59, check-in time is rounded to 08:00 From 8:01 AM to 8:14 AM, check-in time is rounded to 8:15 AM

Example 2 - Rounding 00:15 - CUT-OFF 00:14 Rounded down to the nearest quarter of an hour From 07:46 to 07:59, check-in time is rounded to 07:45 From 08:01 to 08:14, check-in time is rounded to 08:00

Example 3 - Rounding 00:15 - CUT-OFF 00:07 HorioWeb - Manual - 2020.06.17 Page 18 of 266 From 07:46 to 07:52, check-in time is rounded to 07:45 From 07:53 to 07:59, check-in time is rounded to 08:00 From 8:01 AM to 8:07 AM, check-in time is rounded to 8:00 AM From 08:08 to 08:14, the check-in time is rounded to 08:15

Exit If the clock-out time is 16:00

Example 1 - Rounding 00:15 - CUT-OFF 00:00 Rounded up to the next quarter of an hour From 3:46 PM to 3:59 PM, check-in time is rounded to 4:00 PM From 4:01 PM to 4:14 PM, check-in time is rounded up to 4:15 PM

Example 2 - Rounding 00:15 - CUT-OFF 00:14 Rounded down to the nearest quarter of an hour From 3:46 PM to 3:59 PM, check-in time is rounded to 3:45 PM From 4:01 PM to 4:14 PM, check-in time is rounded to 4:00 PM

Example 3 - Rounding 00:15 - CUT-OFF 00:07 From 15:46 to 15:52, check-in time is rounded to 15:45 From 3:53 PM to 3:59 PM, check-in time is rounded to 4:00 PM From 4:01 PM to 4:07 PM, check-in time is rounded to 4:00 PM From 16:08 to 16:14, check-in time is rounded to 16:15
