Updating Synergy Touch or Home with data present

Process for Updating Sy Touch / Home whilst retaining the clockings

You will ned a USB mouse and a USB Memory Stick

Exit the App
Go to file manager
Browse to Local Memory / Android / Data / Com.Synergy.Touch
Press and hold Kiosk.db3
Select copy from the options across the bottom of the screen
Insert USB Stick ( if not already present)
Use the Back arrow top Left to come back to the root showing Local Memory & USB
Select USB
Press and hold in the file section of the screen until the menu appears across the bottom
Select Paste
Kiosk.db3 will now be copied to your USB stick
Go to Home Page (Use right mouse button)
Select Settings >> Apps
Click on Synergy Touch
Uninstall
Confirm OK
Back to Homepage
File Manager
Reinsert USB with the new version APK file on it
Select USB
Browse to the new apk file and tap it
Select Next then Install using default permissions
Open
Set the Path to https://customername.synel-saas.com
Set the correct device ID from the Devices GUI on SWF
Exit the App
Go to file manager
Select USB
Press and hold Kiosk.db3
Select Copy from the Menu
Go back arrow to root
Browse to Local Memory / Android / Data / Com.Synergy.Touch
Press and hold on the file area
Select paste from the options across the bottom of the screen
Kiosk.db3 will transfer back to the device
Go to Homepage
Open Synergy Touch App
Data will upload on next Sync
