Stranger Email Notification

Stranger Email Notification Send Out at Wrong time.

Issue: Stranger Notification emails are sent out at early morning when site was closed. Also, while checking on the GUI, no stranger is being registered for the notified date & time.

Device: Thermal Kiosk

Cause

The device was offline when the Stranger was detected. Hence, no emails were sent out at that time. But when the device came online, early morning, it started sending out the notifications. On the next day, the detected Stranger was enrolled as an employee on the system.

Checks to be carried out

Check the logs to see the communication from the devices. From this we can understand if the device was offline or not.

Solution

To add the date & time of the swipe made for the Stranger on the email, so that it can avoid the confusion. Which currently being worked on.
