SY777 - Create and Clear Memory Crash Procedures
1. Clear Memory Crash
- Press 6 times on the 0 key. An asterisk appears for each time that this key is pressed.
- Press once on the Enter key.
- Press 3 times on the Arrow UP key next to display.
- Press 2 times on the Arrow Down key next to display.
- Press 3 times on the Arrow UP key next to display. The message CLEAR MEMORY? will appear on the display.
- Press 1 time on the Arrow Down key next to display. The message MEMORY CLEARED will appear on the display. This will cause the terminal to enter the technician mode. Press Enter key to cycle through all the functions until the screen says "No Prog" Please make sure Polling is set N & Network Card set to B when cycling through the functions..
- Re-program the terminal from Software.
2. Create Memory Crash
- Disconnect the terminal from the power source.
- Move J3 to pins 2 and 3.
- Connect to the reconnect to the power source.
- Disconnect from the power source.
- Move J3 to pins 1 and 2; memory crash occurs
- When memory crashes, the following message is displayed: CRASH
